Havent been on in a while.. Its good to be back... I've backed up many of my originals over the past 2 years or so with no problems. Using Verbatims only, using my samsung sh-d162C to read and my pioneer DVR 112D to write. Using xbox creator 2.4 and 2.6 to read and imgburn 2.3.2 to burn and have NEVER had any issues... Made two backups first reading at 4X then 2x. Burned at 4x and 2x as a well and neither will load.. WHen i install the disc, the xbox logo appears and thats all that happens.. My console still runs all of my other backups fine.. I have the benq drive with the older firmware which i believe is verson 1.1 Like said, my other backkups run fine. Can anyone offer anything up here?
They recently started putting the NXE update in the newer games. older firmware does not recognize this additional data and will not allow it to boot. This is called Wave 3. You must upgrade your firmware to 1.51 in order to play wave 3 games.
hope you haven't been playing on live. 1.51 needs flashed as stated above and is way more safe on live. Also, you will be able to play all the new games. Good Luck! Use Jungle Flasher 1.55 or the 360 mod disc.
cant i go about flashing this drive the same way i did with firmware version 1.1?? Generate a key and use a 98 boot disc and go thru dos?
