does your monitor have a self-adjust feature via the menus you can access from the buttons it somewhere? you could try changing your resolution, as well.

to change your resolution, right-click on your background, go to properties, then to settings, and find the slide button there to adjust it.

does the monitor have any kind of "auto focus" ability or anything of that type? have you tried updating or rolling back your video card drivers?

do you know when/how this happened, or what might have caused it? did you install any games or anything, or play with any settings?

Rick click on the desktop. Go to properties...then settings. Adjust you screen resolution to see if it helps.

Ok so you have tried the monitor buttons for resizing etc.. that didnt work... You have tried resolution changing and that didnt work... Have you got another monitor in you home you could try? Is the monitor a LCD (flat) or CRT (big)?

Ok... what about moving your unit to the monitor, you only have to connect the monitor and power cable just for testing....

If your parants are going to bitch tell them that they will have to buy you a new monitor then! ; ) lol (j/k)

You actually need to try the problem monitor on the other computer. If it has the same symptoms on that computer, then it may be toast.
