my music folder help in windows xp

hi, recently my folders' and files' in my music folder names disappeared. Whenever i go to the folder i can't see the name of it. Only when i hover the mouse over it, the name comes next to mouse but not underneath the folder like in other folders. All of my other folders don't have this problem. Can someone please tell me what to do? Thanks.

not sure, mite be a corrupted file in it (im guessing) try running an anti-virus programme on that specific folder.

 

thanks for the idea but it hasn't got any infected files in it. I scanned it. Any other ideas?

 

go to tools folder options in your my music folder goto view and reset defaults

 

um i donno maybe spyware

no, still doesn't work. And there's no spyware or viruses in my computer.
