Ok - I can't figure out why I am unable to get my burns working. Everything was just fine until I tried CloneDVD demo (just curious). Been using DVD Shrink for a yr now and also upgraded to Nero 7.5. Here is my latest coaster creation. Anyone? Thanks!! Basically this is all I can see in the log, slow the burn to 4x....I cannot see what brand of discs you are using either.
Using Verbatim (lightscribe) DVD+R. I've burned dozens of discs before this problem. I've uninstalled and reinstalled Shrink and Nero. Also uninstalled DVD Clone. Any ideas?
could be a bug in Nero 7. I use Nero 6.6.0.18 ------ the stable version of Nero 6..... a lot of members are saying that 7.0.8.2 is a good stable version of 7, which I think is still available here. http://www.filehippo.com/download_nero_7_premium/?845
UPDATE: Ok I tested the lightscribe drive and the project came out ok...so can anyone elaborate on why the dvd burns might be failing? Could it have something to do w/ the CloneDVD program? Some residual file that is screwing things up? Ahhhh!!! This is driving me crazy!!
cloneDVD is not the problem. did you download and install the stable version of Nero 7? did you lower your burning speed to 8x?
Going to, but I'm out of media til tommorow (except for the unused lightscribe sides). When I bought Nero 6, they gave me the free upgrade to 7 which I have done. Therefore I have reg keys for both. Which do you recommend, Nero 6.6.0.18 OR 7.0.8.2 Just finished the uninstall for 7.5.7.0 - Thanks for your advice on this one.
