I have the old ds and the touch screen quit working on me this morning there is nothing wrong with the ds besides the screen neither screen is broken or anything does anyone know what happened to my ds?
The touch part of a DS touchscreen is a separate piece from the actual screen. Its a thin transparent film and is actually replaceable but isnt for the feint of heart. Its available here http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.3245 but I would advise getting a professional modder or someone with a good amount of electronics experience to do the replacement for you.

Any site that carries modding supplies generally has them. The site I sent the link to earlier has some for under $1. I've never seen them for sale in an actual physical store though.
