my own icon files??

    well since im bored i have decided to make my own icons for IE, MSN etc.

    but i don't know what to save them as ( .jpg, .gif, .png etc ) and what resolution to make them.

    can any1 help me out plz?

    found it somewhere i didn't expect ( microsoft website )

    I usually make them 32x32 and save them as .ico with IconEditor.

    yeah i know, it was on the microsoft website, but i use the GIMP
