Hello people, thanks in advance for any help,

I have a P4 3gig, 1 gig ram XP , anyway, when I want to copy a dvd the rendering/encoding process causes the thing to crash ... i have tried it with powerDVd, adobe encore, dvd shrink/nero , I have used movies that i converted from VHS aswell as basic DVD's,

my pc should have the power so i think it is some crummy conflict

its makes it to 20-30-40% then it restarts !! dang !!

here is a pic of the task manager, if that is any help...

Try shut down anything that consumes power (e.g. firewall), and try using a less energy demanding software (e.g. Decrypter) to see if it's any better. With Nero, set job priority to high. Also, make sure you have a lot of disk space and defrag. more often.
    Good luck!
