This shed was one of those 1 day projects for 2 people according to the directions, LMAO! I spend 2 weeks, had to wait for the dead calm weather of summer of 2007. Digging, dozens of hrs standing on a ladder. My knees hurt for til 6 months later.

Here's what it looked like after the remnants of hurricane Ike(70+MPH winds) came through central ohio last september:

That 1 sycamore treelimb smashed up the front corner-woods is to the south of the shed,so it does have some of a windbreak.

Here's what it looks like after a 60 mph thunderstorm last wednesday night, and the winds came from the south just like Ike:

That storm pulled out all 4 earth augers. The west door is now facing northwest, LOL! Also had my old genesis/high society/gallery and penthouse collection, UGGH! My $1000 set of golf clubs survived!!! Nothing worth that much other than those items. The X-mas tree is pretty much landfill material now.

At least that storm didn't bring much rain.My other shed survived-still looks like sh*t,polebarn still unblemished, and 4 pcs of siding twisted on my house. I drove around my area and saw 1 wooden shed turned upside down,LOL!

BTW: 60 degrees yesterday and woke up this morning with the ground covered in snow, LOL! Gotta love Ohio weather.

WOW! What a dumb shed design! It looks like an airplane wing, the downforce in 60mph of wind must have been massive to crush the shed like that.

The ground was saturated, unlike when remnants of hurricane Ike came through last fall.Ike was at least 75 mph and for ohio,it was one of those 1 in a 100 years storm. A lot of shallow rooted trees fell down in the area. The hardwood trees had no problem with the storm.

She's still sitting there. Been too cold and windy to do anything. My overhead door on the garage got buckled so I got plenty of scrap steel to help beef it up,LOL!.

Next shed, I'll bury 4 of my remaining 6x6 treated post remnants 4 feet into the ground and tie into them.

I'll take hurricanes over earthquakes...a brick building will survice a hurricane, plus you can plan in advance and have a hurricane party...hard to plan a party around the next earthquake.

Shed's still sitting there all squished up. Scrap metal prices are half what they were this time last year. Thinking about getting one of those wooden amish made sheds with my tax refund.

I found a newer shed. Only 1 yr old and should arrive by 9 am this morning.

Someone at work said so and so had a shed to get rid of,already on a trailer. Only 4 miles from me so I took a look after work and told them I'll take it for $600. Already built,so it'd save me a lot of time.Going to set it right where the old one was-it's about the only level site on my property,LOL.

10'x 12' and 10' high with a barnstyle roof. 1 window and skylight in roof so plenty of light can get through. Even has a work bench inside. With the ex-wife moving in,we need the extra storage because I'll be getting all my stuff back that I lost in the divorce, LOL!!!

I'll use this for temp storage then paint it white with pink trim so my daughter can use it as a playhouse with the neighbors 5 little girls. 5 girls- Holy Moly!!!

I will anchor it better this time,LOL!

All that time and work to build it,I dismantled the old one yesterday in under 90 mins.

Nope,my ex-wife and I are back together.I'll be getting most of my stuff that I lost in the big Divorce,LOL.

Kinzie's mother,I have no kind words to say about her.

A little birdie told me she wants back, but I'd never take her back. Once a HO,always a HO.

The ex gf and her entire family owe a ton of money and they get away with it.Her sister inlaw and her husband rents a place out, amass huge utility/rent bills, then move out. They keep doing this all the time and get around scott-free.They even do the same with storage sheds. Keep all their junk in them for months without paying the storage fees, then move it out to another storage facility before they auction all their junk.

The ex gf was 3 months behind on child support on her other 3 and child support agency threatened to revoke her liscense. She gave them a few bucks to keep them off her back. If it was a working guy like me,they'd throw the book at me.

I finally found my camera. When I get time,I'll post a pic of the semi new shed.
