Well today my laptop charger died and now I have decided to list all my problems with my stupid laptop: My problems with laptop: -Bad CD drive (would not show up in device manager or my computer, turns out it was a problem with the CRAP ware compaq ships with their computers) -Bad BIOS (would not boot or go into setup, had to reflash) -Bad battery (after half a year the batter held almost no charge) -Laptop would black out after 1 minute of no activity (windows problem, tried reinstalling power optinos with now luck, re-installing windows fixed it [not using the recovery partition]) -Bad charger cable (no longer charges the laptop, but if I use a different one it work fine) Problem with my brothers hp laptop: -memory bay cover is totally warped after 2 weeks!
I got a mitac laptop strong and robust no problems at all tell your brother not to leave his on the cooker heat warps everything try conditioning your battery turn it on get into bios screen leave it to let the battery go flat charge the battery and it will last longer ( mey take several tries if your battery is that sick) everything else sounds like user error get a lot of that in this house
