My Screen Is Completely Wrecked

    I havn't used my iPod in a while but when I went to turn it on before the screen was broke. The top half of the screen is completley white, whilst the right side has lines going up it. It has not been dropped as far as know, just wondering if this is a one off or a design fault.

    Is the screen leaking LC resido?

    I would first try resetting the iPod (hold menu and center buttons until Apple logo appears), then restore the iPod if this doesn't work. To restore use the Apple updater found here: http://www.apple.com/ipod/download/

    If this still doesn't work, it is most likely a problem with the screen. I would take it to your nearest Apple store if you are still under warranty. ;-)

    ohhh no! it would appear you have all the signs of the dreaded screen blead. Better take that to apple right away.
