    Hello Everybody!

I am having a problem with my softmodded xbox. First off i softmodded my xbox by hotswap. Every thing worked perfectly fine for a while, until my brother wanted to borrow it. I let him of course because hes my brother, but when i got it back, i plugged it in and it wouldnt boot up fully.

It boots the Splash screen and shows the MS sign at the bottom then the screen goes black.I cannot FTP to my xbox either.
I cant boot any game, not even original. Now My xbox also has problems turing on. It will turn on then after about 1 minute,it will turn off. But if theres a game in it will stay on.

Please help i want my xbox back!

Actually, this sounds a lot like what I did to mine... I managed to destroy three operating systems that were installed within five minutes while trying to show off...

First I turned it off during a save, then I had already messed up the recovery files and accidentally loaded that one... then I went to see if I could switch the hard drive and must have messed that up... and so now I have decided to come here and look around at how to fix it.
However, I thought my story might help...
    Though mine doesn't power off?

Sadly best thing to do in this situation is to make a eeprom reader and follow directions. It's pretty simple building it but it can be a pain gettin everything to work right. Evenually you'll pull a good eeprom.bin file and you can rebuild your files or use xplorer360 to read and modify the contents of your drive.

Your xbox is fixable but it may be a time consuming process.
