The answer would have to be no!
If the definition of properly, means to have the game play at the recommended levels of quality, then your GPU especially will not be up to the minimum spec recommended on most of the newest games.
New games being what you asked about.
You should look at the web sites for the games you intend to play and see the system specs listed.
Those specs are listed for a reason, the game will play on lower spec machines, but will not 'Play Properly'.

I agree with BigDK on this one, most new games will either not run or will run very badly on that card.
Even with a serious overclock you are going to be missing out on the games niceities.

If you can live without some eye-candy then you will be fine, but my advice would be to spend a bit and get yourself a newer card.

You wouldn't see a vast improvement, if any, by switching to that card.
I suppose the 2 main questions are how much eye candy you are willing to lsoe and what your budget would be for a new Graphics card.

ok, I'm not to sure the best places to look for ca, but we have a few Canadian mebers on here who might shed some insight.

It may be worth waiting, saving some cash and then buy a new motherboard and grab a pci-express card to go with it.

There are AGP cards that will be a massive improvement over the one you have, but I think you will have to spend over budget!!

i'll check later if no1 has replied and see what I can find, work time now :(
