    Run Nero StartSmart, elect to make a DVD movie and in 'Nero Vision', load the VOB files (VTS_01_1.VOB, VTS_01_2.VOB, etc).
    Make sure they are in the correct order and use the option to merge the files into one title (it's on the lower left window) then proceed to the menu creation and burning step.

    My nero OEM doesn't have nerovision. It does have burn dvd video files option but it needs my missing files. Is there a free program that can add my missing files so I can use this option?

    I think you may use IfoEdit to create one ifo file for you DVD.

    using ifoedit I selected create ifos. input my vob but got "could not find any unit in vob file" message. What I have is 5 vob files that were authored onto 3 different dvd-rs with my standalone dvdrecorder. I'm trying to get them onto one dvd-r. I actually do have the missing ifo files. The problem is the files have the same name such as 0_1 since they were taken from three different disks and I've tried simply to rename them but nero still got error messages when trying to burn. I also tried VSO DivxToDVD program with no luck. PLEASE HELP.

    Take one VOB file from several different clips.
    Rename them in sequence;example, VTS_01_1.VOB VTS_01_2.VOB etc

    Run Ifoedit and click 'Create IFOs'

    The 'Create new IFO files' window opens;

    Under 'Options' select only 'Create a PGC for each new VobID' and 'Create Chapter for each Cell'.

    'Output Stream'; select the 1st VOB of Title-Set (VTS_01_1.VOB)

    Make the destination directory 'Same as Source'.

    ' OK'.

    Ifoedit processes each VOB in sequence.

    I find that I have to run 'FIXVTS' on the output folder to make it acceptable to DVD Shrink - I don't know about Nero, I don't have it installed at the moment.

    I followed your settings and it did burn with nero. The reulting DVD-r when played on stand alone dvd player wont play sound however. Also for some reason almost 200 chapters were created each only around 29 seconds or so. When I put dvd into my PC and explored optical drive, I see dvd consists of 2 files. A sound file which is empty and a video file which has all my files. If I go into the video file I can find and play vob files fine using wmp11 with audio and video. Can someone advise me what I did wrong?
