I have a Compaq Presario V2000, which comes with a built in WLAN and a button to enable it for easy access. But when I press the button the WLAN wont flash on so I cant get online wirelessly. I would greatly appreciate any help.
Some wireless adaptors allow windows to control the wireless adaptor. So click the button may not work. Go to network connections in the control panel and make sure the wireless is enabled. If it is enabled then right click on it and go to view wireless networks. You should see your wireless router in that list. Click on your routers name and click connect.
