the reason why windows probaly cant read the file is cause it is in xISO format which is an ISO for Xbox. If you have a working game ISO then you should only have to open up nero and choose to burn image and choose that ISO to burn. If you want to see whats in the ISO you could always download a program called Quix and see whats in it. You can get the program here.

    http://www.teamavalaunch.com/qwix/index.html

I uasly dont burn the ISO after downloading it. I uasly load the ISO myself in Quix and extract the ISO in a folder then FTP it to my 300gig hard drive on my Xbox and play it there. So I would asume if you would want to burn it to disc then just burn the ISO as an image file in nero.

The problem also could be your Xbox drive dosent like the media your using to burn to.

1 of your partitions should have a games folder in it. Do you have a bigger hard drive installed? If not id sugest not to FTP the game to your hard drive cause the Xbox hard drives that come in the Xbox are only 8 to 10 gigs.

    well
i tried to extract the iso files by qwix then made a new iso file
    then i burn it
when i put in there , my dashboard told me that is a Game, not an Unknown disk, last 3 dvd i burn are all unknown
    but this time still fail
when i hit play dvd games it ran a little bit then jump back to the dashboard
but after that i went to XBMC the read that dvd
it has files in there, usually last 3 failed dvd can't even show on the xbmc
    so what's going on now?!

FTP to your Xbox and try to clear out the CACHE folder and then try to load the game.

Do you have your Xbox hooked to your computer by FTP?

I have had the problem and others have had the problem of trying to play a backup disc and it starting for a few seconds then stops working and dosent load up.

The fix for it was FTPing to your Xbox and clearing your CACHE folder then the disc should work.

All I can do is tell you to try it.

Should be either in your C: or E: folder

You didn't answer larrylje's question about having a bigger hdd installed but if you don't...more than likely the CACHE files will be in your E:Drive
    Go Here:
    E:/CACHE/"delete the file here"
Restart and try your luck :)

You're not transfering the .iso file. It has to be extracted before or during the transfer.

If you are using Avalaunch as your dashboard...use Qwix to transfer the file

If you're using EvolutionX dash, use Craxtion. Another member, PimpDawgsaid with certain tools he found the later version to work better. V:3 I believe...that may help.

Or...if the file is already extracted, you can use an FTP Client to transfer it.

Depending on you xbox format and size the games will to either the E:Drive or the F:Drive.
    E:/Games or F:/Games

Qwix can do it all...why use two different program. Just open Qwix, LOAD ISO...SELECT ALL THE ISOs...the click FTP UPLOAD ALL. :)

**edit: it extracts the .iso as it transfers.
