A series of events happened... and it eventually got worse. Here's what happened. 1) When I first got the USED Xbox it was running fine, nothing was wrong... 2) Maybe a week later; I turned on the Xbox and it loaded normally and when the green blob came on the screen ... the sounds started skipping and then lines went through the screen... and everything stopped loading. 3) Tried it a few days later and everything worked fine... 4) Same thing as #3 5) After fiddling around OUTSIDE of the Xbox (making sure everything was plugged in properly and what-not) the system just wouldn't boot up anymore ... it would have a green light 3 times... and then an orange/red light would keep flashing... Does anyone know the problem... or give me a list of things to check on the inside of the system, and tell me how to take it apart without damaging anything? Thank you.
don't take it apart, you'll lose your warranty (if you have one). If you don't have a warranty cuz it's used just open the xbox and check that all the cables are plugged in right, it shouldn't be a big deal.
Lol bloody americans lol. I'll help u out. The Xbox is so simple to take apart. Have u ever taken a PC apart? If u have this will be easy for u. Just remember to unplug it first or ZAP u go. Okay i'll give u a link to a totrial that will help u. It's at xbox-scene.com, go there and look around and learn. http://www.xbox-scene.com/articles/open1.php that should do it hope that helps. Make sure all the calbes are pluged in good and get a small valcon a suck all the dust out of there that can help out too.
