I know this isnt really related to this site but i just wondered if anyone here could help me. Lately i installed a program called popswatter and with it came a MySearch toolbar that appeared at the top of my webbrowser. I soon learned that this stopped me being able to use any other sort of search engine. On looking into this i found out that this was some sort of parasite. I have tried all sorts to get rid of it but still i cant use anything to search. i.e. i cant use yahoo to search. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Cheers
1. Try AdAware/Spybot 2. You can mess around with your services and such (i.e., Start --> Run --> Services.msc --> search and destroy). 3. Even if that works, i wouldnt trust anything... reinstall.
