Always played ps3 but am looking at getting a modded xbox. Ive done some searching but get alot of confusing info. I mainly want the system to play HD content on my tv from an external hdd. Id like store games on the hdd and be able to play online if possible. Also id like to stream netflix but am not sure if the modded consoles can go online and do this. Ive asked questions but sometimes people selling seem like they say yes to anything.
You would need a xbox with flashed firmware on the drive, problem is that if you flash your firmware you **MAY** get banned. No one knows for sure if you will get banned though.
You need Xtreme LT to be flashed in your Xbox 360( Xtreme LT is a flash that can play burned/back up games and you can also play online without getting banned). and Jtag. You could go to The Philippines to buy one with Xtreme LT in the Xbox. Just go to SM City Cebu, Mandaue, Cebu, Philippines. In SM City Cebu, go to the 3rd floor (2nd Floor as they say), go to CyberZone, North Wing of the mall. Find the store i.TECH. The place is huge! Outside of the store, it has a PC/Xbox 360/PS3 Café!! Anyway, you will find it there, just ask someone. And then, in the store, ask the girls (Most employees are girls) how much to buy an Xbox 360 (The Price is: 13,000 Pesos in cash. But 13,490 Pesos in non-cash (like a credit card). +10 free (Burned) games. Here's your info to buy an Xbox without too much trouble. You want Original Games? PC, PS3, Xbox 360, Wii, DS, PS2 Games (all orginal)? You can go to the other side of store (Store facing) and find Data Blitz. i.TECH has a Original games, too. but not all Platforms... Yeah, id just grab one off craigslist but to each his own. I just want to play a couple of games online, occasionally. Id use the browser, netflix and my external hdd much more than play games.
