n2 n3 how it looks to me

Ok guys heres what i get from reading the forums.

narga=ision 1 is what we are decoding and watching now.

nagra=ision 2 is being rolled out in ireland just now and only the kriptview box has a temp fix for it.

nagr-=ision 3 is uncracked and its looking like in ireland they are going to switch all the premium channels to this sometime soon.

However in ireland the cable company is not vi=gin and vir=in are spending loads of cash on there new iptv (internet based) system so they are not likely to spend any money on upgrading to narga 2 or 3 as they hope to roll out the new system across the board by the end of next year

So in a nutshell if your in ireland you are going to get the premium channels for a year or two if you have a box capable of watching a nagra 2 stream than after that you will only get non premium channels (unless nagra3 is cracked sometime soon)

And in the uk you should be ok till the end of next year. But cable systems that should have been off years ago IE.anolog are still up so it could be another 2 or 3 years after that before cable acualy get the digital system ofline in favor of the iptv.


Sorry it so drawn out guys but this is how i see it any comment on if i got somthing wrong would be helpfull i am only going with what i read i am no expert

 

in irl if they change next week/month/?? to n3 no box will work until a fix brought out.no one knows how long.

Im more asking if ive got the right idea than telling everone whats happening altho if its helpfull to others then even better

so do you think what i posted is along the right lines obviosley no one knows exactly when they will cut the n2 stream

 

n2 enough most off the boxes down only krypiview fixed

 

all we can say is irl in the middle of encryption change and no one knows if or when it will happen.

 

I got a box for a friend in Meath in March and it went on him last week,he's disgusted but what can u do. A strvw 4 usb and everything was grand till then. I read that upc went a bit crazy updating and this is the result. I live in Cork and am still getting it on the chrus,hopefully for another while yet but the end is def nigh by the sound of things.fingers crossed though!! Only for the people on this site I'd still be trying to get the box out of the package,lol, everyone has been a great help and hopefully someone will come through with good news soon. Thanks again all who helped!! Trust the boxes to go just at the start of the recession,lol. We'll all turn into intellectuals from reading books coz hell will freeze over before I pay for tv ever again.

Guys I'm getting confused again. I have a dbox2 with half the channels working. Are they still been streamed in N1. Does this mean that those I have lost (sports, movies, some discovery and some cartoons ....) are now on N2 or N3. I thought we had moved to some on n3 already. If they are only on n2 how long will it last and is there anyone working on a solution for the dbox2 or a forum that I should subscribe to to get more information. Is the dbox only capable of sorting out N1

 

Satkings are working on a fix for the ITGate which will in turn be able to be used in the DBox2.
Yes the channels you are missing are now only streamed on N2 and N3.
Dont count on N2 lasting, it may be a month, maybe 2 months, maybe the end of the year, but it will eventually be turned off

Satkings have been workin on that so called fix for weeks now..a newsletter said it wud be out 3 weeks ago..do you think it will materialise??..i have an itgate too and i think their response has been poor..telling us it will be soon , be patient, out this week etc etc

 

totally agree with you mate its going on now well over two months now and if you go on their forum every thread referring to the N2 problem in Ireland is either closed or deleted

what does that tell you about the fix for them boxes ???

dont hold your breath is all i would say waiting for it to be fixed in Ireland anyway

 

I'm with Fergus on this one, Cant see it happening anytime soon, but still hopefully there will be something soon

 

I'm not holding my breath (wud be dead by now!) I subscribed as back then I didn't want to take a gamble on the krypt but looks like I was wrong..I see they barred you on that site..fair play to you lad at least the box you support works that is until n3 but hey who knows..

 

they cant handle the truth on that other place so if they dont like what you say they either ban you or delete or close the threads as you will see there is no talk on there about ireland if you notice and all the irish people are afraid in case they say anything that they will be banned as well so much for freedom of speech lol

it could be a long time yet before it goes that far as there are still plenty of N2 cards about and some of their boxes dont take N3 so thats another problem for them to solve lol

 

Have to agree with you on this one ferg they should come clean and let people know what the status is on the fix for this box , instead of the silence , I know to people who got these boxes and there now just as good as a Starview
