We all know whats happened there now but im just wondering as i cant remember, when was it announced that they when going to do this,to this week when it seems they have now done this, how long did it take allin.also does virgin own chor** and all the other cable companys in GB as there are places that use OMNEso thats not virgin, and they work there? So basically im trying to work out how long it takes to go fully N3 here.given uk is a bit bigger than ireland.

Very hard to read your post but heres a few answers
Chorus do not own anyone, they are owned by UPC, as are NTL Ireland
Took a few months for NTL, they went N2 then N3, but chorus went straight from N1 to N3
Only movies and sports moved to N3 so there still is some channels availabe

in short i was tyring to find out how long the boxes could be used.plus i wonder how long the sellers keep selling knowing they aare having people over as there must still be thousands to get rid ov,,,Surely vm cant switch over till they confirm all subscribers have got the cards!as i for 1 wont activate mine and if they ask why blame the post office lost in post. lol

They will probably only stop streaming sports and movies on Nagra1 so they will only need to have Nagra3 shipped cards to those subscribers, who will all activate their cards as they are legit.
They wont care if you don't activate your card, they wont revert back for one customer, they will just send you another card
