On another thread somebody said they got Mariokart 64 to work doing these steps so I followed these exact instructions: Using Pheonix I loaded MKart64 and took the hidden file it makes when trying to stream the rom, "n64.iso". Then I used "FSTFIX 1.5F" to rebuild the iso to a managable size. c:\FSTFIX.EXE "N64.ISO" However, when I try to burn the iso file using Nero 6 onto my Ritek G04 mini-dvds it says "Sorry your compilation cannot be written on this type of disc. Please insert a disc of the correct type or modify the settings of your compilation to make it compatible with the current disc". I used the correct settings (Disc-at-Once, Finalize the Session) so I don't know what could be wrong. Anyone have any ideas? ...Also, if you want to burn multiple isos onto one disc, do you need to fix each rom using FSTFIX before you can use a multirom image disc creator? And how many roms can you put onto one disc?
N64 games can be played, it's just that no one really does it since it isn't worth the effort. That's why waab182 hasn't gotten an answer yet. I've neer bothered with it, so I couldn't tell you how.
I got some games to work, but a lot are incompatible and there is no save feature, which is lame and I can see why people don't bother with it, although Mariokart 64 works great
