How i play N64 or Snes roms direct in gamecube without BBA+Phoenix ??? Any bios do this ??? Thanx All !!!
N64 roms need to be .gcm, not .dol. Best way to convert them to .gcm is to put Phoenix ready to stream N64 ROM(press load), and then look into Phoenix directory so that you can see hidden files, and copy N64.gcm(or something like that) to somewhere else. There!, you have a N64 in .gcm And to put it on DVD, fstfix it to full size, and burn properly. And to you to know, most N64 games wont keep saves, so if you playing Mario64 etc. you need to play it throught in same gaming session And i dont know have you tested any ROMS do they work... but most N64 ROMS wont work at all I have only Mariokart no need to save ---- And about SNES roms, i dont know about them:/ ---- And every mod/softmod will do, but best is Viper chip, you can do multi-game disc(ROMS are so small so i think you wanna more than one ROM on one disc)
BUT IT CAN also be done by making them to .dol. I swear modchips can read .dol format. am i have snes games in .dol format, so u can get them.
Wait... i do or not play snes games ??? .dol or .gcm ??? i can play in gcos 1.4b2 ??? or anaconda04 ??? i don't have a chip, i use the AR !!! please help me...
As i said: So it wont matter. Btw, i looked info about SNES emulating... It's not possible to run SNES roms from DVD without a modchip. But you said you are using AR, so you can upload SNES ROMs in .dol format to memory card. You need SD loader to browse files. I didnt found SNES to .dol converter with light search, but seems that Boki knows because s/he have them in .dol. But i havent been on SD-loader scene much, so dont ask details You commented my N64 comments... but i think u mean SNES...
I'm wondering...I downloaded a GBA emu off modthatcube...how would I go about to make it work? I tried flashing it with 1.3, but its a whole folder? Any ideas? I have Qoob Pro with BIOS 1.3c if that helps. The files called gbaemu2.
