bitcomet is for noobs. it's not accepted in most private top notch torrent sites (filelist, torrentbits, etc) utorrent is the best. it randomizes ports, and before only bittornado had this feature newsgroups is better than torrents, but it's a lot more complicated, not recommend for beginners
most isp's have their own news service. comcast however, requires u to pay. there's other sites that offer service for comcast users that's much better than the crap comcast has newsgroups can be confusing though.
Newsgroups can be very simple if you go the NZB route. It is just like a torrent file. Also, if you're new to it, using Grabit will also help!
nzb is the way to go for us comcast users, we have to pay a monthly fee for a 3rd party news service. damn u comcast!
I haven't used utorrent, but if it is like bittornado then it sounds like a good program to look at I think.
it has all the important features of bittornado (upnp, randomize ports, upload/download limits, etc) and it has a multi torrent interface. so it's pretty pimp
if you are gonna use newsgroups it is only about $16 a month for unlimited downloads that will max out your connection and require no uploading.
For som reason NO torrent software downloads any files, i tried em all!, i tried fowarding ports and everything, downloads just wont start, i have 3mbit broadband, so goodluck!
right, well I tried uTorrent Azerzeous, BitTorrent, u name it. and Bit COmet always came back with the fastestand easy to use out of them all.
ok well i downloaded this newgroup thing and i followed the guide..but there are no files on the internet that have nbi extensions or nbz extensions i have sbcglobal.net someone help
Go to www.newzbin.com and get a premium account, costs $1.80 a month. You will then be able to download .nzb files.
You can also get NZB files at these two sites for free. http://www.nzbzone.com/ http://www.nzb-world.com/
