It works just fine for me. I burned at 2x using Verbatim DVD-Rs and I used DVD Decrypter. Also I'm using Swap Magic 2.0 on a V7 PS2.

What speed, media, mod method, etc. are you using?

    memorex and dvd decryptor

you had three files after ISOBuster right??

    all i get is a black screen at 8x 4x and 2x

I used Decrytpor and rebuilt it with iso buster then i used nero to burn

does this game need to be rebuilt???
this the first game that does not work for me

What are you needing to use IsoBuster for?
Just make an iso of the disc with DVDecrypter & burn it at 1/2 your DVD-R's max speed.

Also get keep your ps2 as far as humanly possible from Memorex media, will kill your ps2 5 times faster than any other media out. Get something like Verbatem or Taiyo Yuden which will leave virtually no damage done to the ps2 laser.
And i dont care if you have had perfect working burns with them, change, it is completely frying your machine trying to play them.
Memorex could also be why the game never boots.

Andrew is completely right... use good media. I got a 100 pack of Verbatims for about $20 so they are cheap.

And yeah saigon06, what I did was just used DVD Decrypter to make one .iso file and then burned it at 2x using DVD Decrypter.

Can somebody please explain how to fix this problem? I'm also getting a black screen when I put in the disc. I'm using Taiyo Yuden media, Fujifilm DVD+Rs. They have never failed a PS2 backup before. Also, I'm using DVD Decryptor to read and write.

I've only used DVD-R on my PS2 and never had a problem. Usually these type of problems are related with: bad burning method, or excessive burning speed. I will tell you the program i've used to burn .iso image(only .iso not any other formats), and that never failed me:

    - CloneDVD2

For years i've used CloneDVD2 to burn .iso images and never had a problem burning a game. With 100% efficiency for me its the best. I also use Nero 6, Dvd Decrypter and Alcohol 120% for other formats.

I thought I had cleared this up, sorry: The DVD+/-R Format is NOT the problem. I want somebody who has successfully backed up this game to explain to me how to do it. Please, that would be helpful. Nothing else.
