Thought I'd start a basketball thread, as other's have their soccer and F1 threads now.

So post anything you like relating to Bball, like:

Predictions for the 2004 NBA draft: will Dwight Howard go number 1?

    Or,

How many crappy teams in the east will make the playoffs? As I see it only the Pacers, Nets, Pistons and Hornets aren't crappy and that's pushing it!!
(and I'm a Knicks fan so I'm dissing my own team here).

Feel free to talk about anything about b'ball, be it International leagues, College, High School, Nba, Rumours, Shaq's crib, Rodman's comeback's haha, Malone's toejam, you get the idea.

I hope the Knicks get Rasheed, or as I like to call him Rash-weed, in the off season too. It could all depend on how deep the Pistons get in the playoffs.

That's the only thing I can see making Rasheed stay in Detroit. Because it looks like he isn't worried about the money as he said he'd take New York's 5 million dollar mid level exception, and that's way under his market value.

As to the Knicks getting Kobe, I just can't see it happening. The Knicks are so far over the cap that the only way they could get him would be in a sign and trade deal. But we can always dream...

Sorry I didn't see the game, I live in Australia, so I only get two games a week on cable + sportscenter. But the last Knicks overtime game was a killer, with Kenny Thomas and Aaron Mckie carving us up in crunch time.
    It hurt watching that.

nice that would be nice, getting kobe, ...losing the the grizzles is pretty bad(by 20 points is even worse)
but im fine with houston leaving he is old and injured. that would be amazing if they got mcgrady too and wallace....then the knicks would be the whole east all star team!!!!
    joke about kobe

    Hey ABMone, what's cracking?

Hope the Nuggets make the playoffs too.
Would love to see their "run'n'gun" style of play in the playoffs.

    Cheers.

Kidd's already hurt and i think Knicks have a good shot at beating them.

And I can't believe my nuggets made it. This is the best.
Now we gotta beat the twolves and keep the season alive.

    Let's hope so!!

If Kidd's out or at least not 100%, then Starbury can go wild.
    Then... Knicks in 4 games!

    lol
