I know you can't play a back up of this online, but can you back the game up, and just play it offline. Like play your own Dynasty?? I have a Magic 3.1.

yes, you can play it fine offline but, you need to sleep your magic 3.1 and use your original to play online.

i know you just said this, but i want to kno for sure cause im bummed.

is there any absolute way to play a backed up copy of Ncaa football 2004? i have a dms3 modchip, and i know i can put it into sleep/stealth mode. is there a way to load the backup and turn off the chip while the EA server checks the DNAS code stuff?

i doubt what im saying is right, but hey u never know : /

The DNAS code is not copied over when you back up a game so no matter what you do when it checks the disc for the code it wont be there. The games don't detect the modchip they detect the missing code.

try going online with the backup and chip in sleepmode, can hurt. Wonder if there is a way to burn a DNAS patch to the dvdr when burning the game. So when the DNAS check is performed it finds the needed info.

correct me if i'm wrong, but i do believe that most online games, including NCAA 2004 can be played online with swap magic. this is because the detection of a chip finds nothing and the ps2 is truly "tricked" into thinking it is a real game.

but the DNAS checks the game when you try to get on the NCAA servers.
