So what exactly are the capabilities of the Nintendo DS when it comes to internet play and wifi? Can you play games online somehow? What accesories do you need to use this? Which are the best ones to buy?

And also, does it work with the M3/SD/Passcard3 Combination on DSLite, specifically? Can you play roms over multiplayer? Point me to some information for this, and I'd rgeatly appreciate it!

It is basically multiplayer over the internet, i'll use Mario Kart as an example:
    - You connect to Nintendo WFC (WiFi Connection)
    - You can now choose to race against Friends, Rivals, Continental racers, Worldwide racers
    - Wait a couple of minutes for racers to be found.
    - Chose your character/kart
    - Vote what track to race on, if everyone picks a different track, WFC randomly picks one of the voted tracks.
    - RACE!

To race friends you have to exchange your 'Friend Code' with them and save their code on your DS.

Yes, but only games that have been made for online play are compatible.
Game that I know can use WFC are:
    Mario Kart DS
    Animal Crossing Wild World
    Metroid Prime Hunters
    Tetrid DS

If you already have a wireless network at home you should not need to buy anything extra to play on WFC, if however your DS cannot work with your router, or security settings you need to buy a Nintendo Wifi Adapter.

Yes, works just like an original game.

Yes, apart from if you send a single cart multiplay game to a DS that does not have FlashMe installed. This is due to the lack of the RSA signiture in the ROM.
