I have NEC 2500A with firmware 1.07 installed. I checked the global Nec site and under firmware for this drive it shows 1.0A as latest update firmware. Now I don't understand how they number it as it appears to me that 1.07 would be newer than 1.0A. Does anyone know. I attempted to flash it and the window shows current firmware loaded as 1.07 and update firmware as 1.0A.. It asks me if I want to update. The flash update is suppose to tell me if the installed firmware is more current than the one I am trying to flash. It does not tell me that so I assume the 1.0A is latest one. Advise. Tom

Thanks for this information. My NEC is the master so I disabled the other drive (slave) on this ribbon. Did the flash just fine. Tom
