Cant get my drive to burn dvds using my usual software, shrink, blindwrite 5 etc...(burning iso files dvd movies), ran dangerous brothers firmware and it started to work ok, but now wont burn dvds, it starts to then stop and kicks the dvd out the drive and says error, or complete (in like 2 seconds), when its not. Its fine with burning cds, but dvd wont work. Have i messed the drive up? Can i get it back to its original state?
Possible. Try reflashing with a Liggy's and Dee's firmware. The 205c looks like the most recent and will give you the most capability. http://liggydee.cdfreaks.com/page/2500/
