i have been having problems burning and have tried upgrading both my drives firmwares my nec to 1.7 no rpc and my pioneer dvd- 121 to the latest firmware and appplied the spdwin patch for max performance, when using alcohol to do on the fly copying the drive starts off at 4.1x and then about 2-3 mins before the end of the burn creeps up to 8.2x this happens, tried diff media and still the same, this happenes while writing from my sata hd aswell., plx help !!! nero i think does the same cos it has a estimated time thats well off, any help would be appreciated.. cheers specs p4 3.2ghz 512 pc3200 200gig barracuda sata nec 2510a 1.7 firmware dl support pioneer dvd -121 windows xp pro sp2 alcohol 1.9.2 b1705 nero 6.8.0.0 background installed processes avg. du supercontroller xp is stream lined with all useless stuff removed, still happenes on a fresh install of xp sp2
