nec 2510a won't write

    I can not get my nec 2510a to right any dvds. Keep saying not a writable disc. I've tried three different types of disc, can anyone help?

    How are you trying to write with your NEC.Is it something you saved to your hard drive or is it a straight copy.Is it a movie your backing up or data and how have you tried to copy and with what programe.With this info we can help you alot more.

    Kinda sounds like there using WindowsXP burning engine to try to write to the dvd... but XP doesnt support it for some odd reason... use "copy to dvd" or nero

    What software are you using to burn the disk in question? This would help us make a better assessment of the problem and what we can do to help you.
