Nec 6500A - DL capable?

    I have a Nec 6500A DVD-+RW. Is there a fireware that make it DL compatible?

    I think to make a drive Dl compatible or whatever the case you have to crossflash the drive. This means you have to flash it with another drives firmware to make it effectively that drive, therefore being able to use DL's or whatever.

    However I dont think this drive can be crossflashed. :(

    I might be wrong though...
