hello all, for some reason my dvd d/l drive has stoped working ,it dosen't read anything, cds or dvds or burn anything. It worked a few weeks ago and nothing has been changed. it's a NEC AD-7170A the driver detail says its optiarc 5.1.25350 ive done some looking around on the web and found a Liggys & Dee flash guid, it says the drive needs to be in PIO mode, whats that? ive tried time after time to update the drivers but they dont install, i allways get an error message, can anyone help?
