I've searched sites and really have no clue as to which one's are any good. My CPU runs idle at about 47 degrees. I would like to get this down by abot 10 degress with a better fan if possible. Have seen no fans about that are specifically designed for the FX57 so I ask for your help. Cheers, Dan.
You could try water cooling, as this cooler is just about to come out. It is 939/940 pin compatible. I've been waiting for one myself.XSPC X2O High Performance PC WaterCooling Kit. Found it here http://www.watercoolingshop.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=25&products_id=446
Nice one. Will be ordering next week. Should do the job nicely, although these types of coolers have beena round for a while there is something worrying about sticking a reservoior of water inside your PC.
Worth looking at the insurance policy under accidental damage section. I know what you mean, but I havn't seen any bad press on watercoolers leaking.
