need a dual layer writer - any suggestions?

    just got an offer for my old teac burner so i wanna get a dvd writer - but has to be dual layer - i have only seen the lighton unit but arent others available? which companies have dual layer writers out?

    I thought there were some "almost dual layer" drives already available for those who can't wait for the real dual layer drives...

    From what I have read these drives can burn dual layer but you have to burn them in two stages - i.e. as if you were burning two seperate DVD's sessions. So it is not a true continuation from one layer to the other... but almost there...
