You can try looking for some older Graphics cards on eBay or something. Just do not expect them to be for free. Watch out for shipping. if something is $1 and shipping is $20, then don't buy it. You can look for the FX 5200 or 5500 or whatever the number is. The ones that are 128Mb. Those should be about $15 or so.

As for Roms, I am not sure if that is allowed here, so I will not answer. The best I can say is do a Yahoo search or something.

    gurnard,

I resemble that remark. Oops I mean I resemble that pic. Creaky might resemble that remark but he'll get over it. :)

lmao. i saw that pic on this or another thread earlier on and it made me want a beer but i plumped for a cup of tea instead :)

don't know too much about recent graphics cards as the most modern i have is a Geforce MX400 and that's ages old now (but still more than good enough top play two of my fave games - Thief & Thief2)

    flamedude,

One option for free hardware would be to check out some of the larger office buildings. They routinely upgrade their equipment and usually just junk the old ones. I worked as an electrician at a large Honeywell and they'd just pitch the old PC's. The hardware won't be the latest and greatest but you may be able to find something to get you by. You may want to ask your folks or relatives if they know of anyone that works at a large office - you might get lucky :)

You will need to upload your pics to a webhosting site. Try this one out:

    http://photobucket.com/

I found about this site from a post by Ireland a while back. Once you upload use the following tags:

    [*img]http*://www.theurl.com/picture.jpg[*/img]

Do it without the * marks.
