need a free audio CD ripper with VBR

    I'm new to the world of ripping CDs. I have read that variable bit rate creates the highest quality MP3 files, while balancing file size. Is there a free audio CD ripper that can rip with VBR? Thanks in advance for the help.

    Never mind. I just read the post about LAME MP3. I assume this is what you all would recommend. Kiitos anyway.
