umm get the google pop-up blocker which is free and get peergaurdian because of pg google on blocked 2 pop-ups in like 2 months ,peerguardian can be found here http://www.filepedia.com/p2p_software/p2p_tools/peerguardian.cfm

I stopped having popup problems since I switched from Internet Explorer to Firefox. You should also consider Spybot or Ad-Aware in case your popus are spyware related.
yes my firefox has been great, on internet explorer my pop ups were horrible, but with firefox i may get like 1 a month like previously mentioned, i also use ad aware se proffesional along with CCleaner, they both work great for me, good luck
