I am looking for some software that can do the following in circuit design -Work with LED (Able to change values and white LEDs) -Use AC 120v power source. wall outlet (Able to change value of voltage) -If possible recomend parts to fix problems that may ocure in design -Easy to use (novice user dont understand all the numbers yet) -Voltmeter option -Show parts that will explode if design is faulty I have looked at a few free ones. Since I do not understand the numbers I cant figure them out. I guess I will have to fork out some cash to get one that beginers can use. There are many out there and have tried some demos out. Again the numbers lose me. I really only understand Volts, watts and AMPs very good. Very little understanding in resistors values. The voltmeter option will help with that. I hope this is not a far fetched request but never hurts to ask. Thanks -Del
I used crocodile clips at gcse and am using them for my A-levels now, is slightly complicated, but is quite simple once you get use to it.
I actually tried that program and could not find a AC 120V power source. Will be a wall outlet of course. The rest of the stuff was easy to find. Still adjusting values is difficult since I dont understan the numbers. You cant just enter volts in that program. Unless there is a setting I am missing. -Del
MultiSim2001. I'm an electronics engineer and that is what I was given while in school. Very good program as it utilizes real and virtual components for testing on your circuit design.
