Hey, I'm new to modchips, and the websites didn't seem to be enough help. So, can someone tell me what bios do? I started d/l'ing one using mIRC and FlashFXP like xecuter's site said, and it seems it's over 80mb, so I can't d/l the whole thing today. Anyway, once I finish the whole d/l, what do I do with it? I have a dvd burner, which I'm told is useful. I truly appreciate the help. Matt
a bios is your Basic Input Output System...it basically just tells your xbox how to boot...as for the bios you are trying to get...the x3 bios is only 1mb...i don't know what the hell you are trying to download. if you are getting the bios from the usual places the x3 bios .rar file should be no more than 3mb...they usually have two versions of the bios in the .rar file
