    im buying this tv
    http://www.circuitcity.com/ssm/Sams...32971/catOid/-12867/rpem/ccd/productDetail.do

and im planing on buying this surge protector
    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16812120232

im wondering if this would be a good choice because i found it under the computer parts section of the website, but i plan on using it with this tv (not a computer)...does the connected equmint warntee stil apply (if i use it with a tv instead of a computer)?

i also noticed it had a couple of coax connectors for additional protection, are these designed for hook up to a satilite dish?

and i would like to know if the EMI noise filter noticeably improves your picture quality, or is it just one of those things that makes it a good selling point?

    THX
