Hi, I have dwindled my decision to get a zenium sp ice solderless chip for my xbox. It says it already comes pre flashed. so do I need to flash with another bios? And i am a little unclear about the dashboard do I still need the dashboard? As far as ftp'n I have a home lan hard wired thru router, if I change the addresses to connect to xbox will it mess up my network? Any and all help is appreciated Thanks.
the xenium ice is a very nice chip but due to legal issues, the bios your gonna need to use the hacked stuff is illegal for thm to ship on the chip, what it does have flashed is the chips operating system, from that system you can flash your hacked bios' and such, with xenium ice i reccomend the evox M8+ bios, be sure to check your xbox version though, because you have to have the M8+16 to work with 1.6, and 1.6b, goto slayer.xbox-scene.com, they will fill you in on all of it, as for xenium, last i remember it was www.teamxodus.com, but i cant be sure
Thanks for your help. I will look for the version, I am a little familiar with slayers as i have done some research on what is needed. Can I change the xbox ip addy and not mess with my pc's? I don't want to mess up my lan.Or should I use crossover cable when ftp'ing? Thanks again.
