B+M stores selection usually are poor. You may get lucky, but online purchases are usually easiest.

I have a tosh hd-a30 which has only refused to play 1 backup. The hd-a3 will only upconvert to 1080i (via hdmi).

I have a pioneer upconverting player which has never refused a disc. It also plays other formats including divx & svcd while the a3 won't(the hds will only play hds, standard dvd & standard cds).
