Processor: Intel® Centrino® 2 Processor at least 2.53Ghz or maybe a Intel® Core™2 Extreme, only if its is good on battery life like the Centrino Operating System : Windows Vista (64-bit), doesn't matter what version. Memory: At least 3GB, prefer 4. Screen: Minimal 16", Full HD (1900x1200p) Hard Drive: 320GB with free-fall protection or SSDrive no less than 128GB, only if notebook design only allows for a slim-hard drive (thin-laptop) Optical Drive: Blu-ray Reader/Burner (single/double layer) Wireless: At least 802.11n (wireless N) with Bluetooth. (a fast one maybe an Intel Nextgen) Battery: Needs to last long (5-6 hours the least). Media Center: HDMI and VGA output and maybe a tv-tuner Graphics: Unsure about this one. Needs to be able to output full 1080p Blu-Ray to HDTV. Needs to be decent for gaming, something that can play Bioshock at High Settings, or maybe Crysis at med to high settings. Warranty: Minimal 3 years with LoJack if offered. Budget: $2100 - 2700. Im looking for a thin design laptop, nothing bulky like alienare or HP. To give you an idea of what I want, something thin like a macbook or Voodoo. Or are there any laptops out there that are thin like that or close to it that are powerful with the specs that I want, or should I wait a bit, maybe around 2009, I heard rumors of way better processors, and very thin powerful laptops coming out. Any input is much appreciated. Thanks.
Not going to happen, this is a high end laptop you're after, which are thick due to the complexity of the components, and more specifically, the blocks required to cool them properly.
