I am currently building a new PC and am trying to get some info on operating systems,
I am not sure if i should go with the XP media edition that i have or should i just buy the new windows 7, 32bit or 64 bit.
I will be using the system for gaming and internet access.
I can give specific system info if needed.

    I would take windows 7..

Windows XP is starting to be a little old, and the support to win7 is getting better all the time.

Only reasons not to take windows 7 is
    A. You don't have more than 1,5GB's of RAM
    B. You have old components without proper drivers

And since duo processors are more powerful than single I would go for the 64 bit version.
