Was due to get Chorus installed on Friday but the "installers" who arrived made very little effort to make this happen. I have an existing pole on the side of the house for broadband and this is where they wanted to place the MMDS aerial. There is a tree in the line of vision from this location and the signal was not strong enough. They told me I couldnt get signal and that was it - no effort to mount a pole on the back of the house where there would be a clean line of vision. So now im going to buy the MMDS aerial and power supply online. Im based in the Drogheda area and have no experience in setting this up myself. Will a standard aerial installer do this job without any problems or issues? Is there any reluctance out there for them to do it ? Any recomendations in the North East?

I have the Digivox-T box which is what I need. What im asking is would a regular aerial installer be willing to install the aerial for me after I buy it. Im not going attempt it myself!
id say so you should have no problem, hoping that he is a sound fellow tell him first what you need him to do to install digivox T for you it probably isn't the first one he put up i put my aerial up myself there is nothing to it but you may be in a two story and dont let him RIP YOU OFF €50 - €75 should cover it as you only want him to put it up and connect to box T
Yup in a 2 storey house so me & ladders dont get on Cheers Ill ring around tomorrow. Have the Digivox-T so going to order the kit this evening from Bubble Supplies - MMDS Aerial, Downconvertor and Power Supply. Is this all I need ?
I have a similar issue but based in Kildare. Have you managed to get someone to install the aerial for you?
