I've been backing up my games for about a year now but up until this point have stuck strictly with PS2 games and Swap Magic method. Recently I've been delving into the XBOX forums and recently came across a good (it appears good to me but I wanted other people's input) tutorial about softmodding your XBOX. It almost seemed too simple to be true! This, by the way, came from a sister site, not from this forum. According to the tutoial, this was all I needed to softmod my XBOX: 1.)An original copy of 007 Agent Under Fire 2.)Action Replay 3.)Downloaded file AgentUnder_BONDAUF.zip Then I guess all I need to do is copy this file onto the memory card (supplied by Action Replay)and then transfer this file to the hard drive of my XBOX. Now when I start up my XBOX without the memory card I can load the transfered file from my hard drive. Then, the tutorial says I'll be able to setup a "new dashboard" either XMX or EvoX. Once the new dashboard is in place, I then can FTP games from my XBOX to my PC and then burn them onto a disc. Do I have this right? Is it really that easy? What's the best way to go, softmodding or actually soldering a chip into the console? I've done some soldering in the past but mainly simple stuff and I really don't want to get into taking my XBOX apart.Any input would be greatly appreciated.Thanks........
Pozzi, from what I've been reading, it does make a difference what version of the game you can use for this exploit. You need to use THE ORIGINAL version of the game. But in addition to 007 Agent Under Fire, you can also use SPLINTER CELL or MECHASSAULT. (Of course the AgentUnder_BONDAUF.zip file that I mentioned will only work with the Agent Under Fire game). One thing I'm not real clear on is when you copy this file onto the Action Replay memory card, do you just copy the ENTIRE ZIP FILE AS IS OR DO YOU NEED TO UNZIP THE FILE FIRST? Can anyone answer this for me? (I hope this doesn't sound too stupid). THANKS.......

@Malak995 - I am SO glad to see someone who actually RESEARCHES what they're trying to do instead of just jumping in and asking dumb questions. Don't worry, you just copy the entire zip file onto the memory card, don't unzip it....
