I want to make a demo disk with clips from Blu-Ray movies. I want to have about 15 3-minute clips that will not only keep perfect video quality but I really want to keep the DTS-HD master audio track as well.

I have searched for days and I am unable to find a software that will do it that doesn't cost $50,000 and requires a masters degree to run it. The software I found is Sonic Scenarist and Sony Blu-Print.

I don't need anything like what these programs can do I just want a simple menu to select the clip and to play it. I can even make due without a menu as long as I can put multiple videos with perfect video keeping the DTS-Master Track

I have been using DVD-Lab Pro for doing DVD's but it will not let me use a blu-ray video stream with DTS-HD.

I am able to use tsMuxer to get the clips I need I just need a simple software to allow me to use the BD video with DTS-Master audio. If you guys have any better advice on a software for trimming the video that would be great as well.

Thanks for any help you guys can provide

multiAVCHD is perfect for what you want to do. Support for the app can be found in the same link, or here. The second link is a dedicated forum to multiAVCHD, whereas the first link is a single thread in a forum.

    Good luck.

Thanks for the advise on the software. I gave it a try and it is forcing me to convert the DTS-HD to AC3. Still messing with it a bit not quite have the hang of it but in the guide it shows that it has to convert the audio to AC3.

Is there any other software out there that will do what I need. I can buy up to $500 software but any more that that and its just not worth it for my purpose.

There is an option to not convert the HD audio.

This program is incredible I love it. I am running into a problem with just the Blu-Ray feeds. If I just take the raw M2TS file from the rip I did with AnyDVD the video just stays on a still frame like it is locked up. I can navigate back to the main window and play anything that was done in DVD and it plays just fine.

Is there a process that should be done to the M2TS file for it to play? I also used tsMuxer outside of the miltiAVCHD program and had similar results. I got it to play once but it was extremely choppy

Here is more info that may help.

I selected the blue-ray out option and I am using a sony BDP-S550 Blue ray player. The files play perfect on my computer so I am wondering if my player is not able to interpreted the output format that multiAVCHD put it in. I am testing the others to find out.

I do find it strange that the dvd content will play just fine but the Blu-Ray content will not. This is why I am confused and I dont think it is a format problem since some of the content will play but not the other.

The Sony BDP550 cannot bitstream DTSHD-MA from DVD9, I'm pretty sure it will decode it from Blu ray disc though. Try tinkering around with the player's audio output settings. If the player can decode, I suggest you try that.
