I ran into the exact same problem as you. No, the only way to deal with it is to get a new service plan. What cingular did was let you finish serving your two-year agreement plan, because if they canceled it you would have to pay a fee. Now that it is done, they are basically telling you that your plan doesnt exist anymore and you need to choose a plan that they are currently providing. If you can get one of those deals wher you get the phone for free and agree to another two year plan, they usually wave the activation fee.
