I have a "Go Video" device. It can make discs with DVD +/-R/RW discs in both wahat they call video moe and VR mode. But none of these seem to be able to be played on my computer. I have Pentium 4 processor, 2.8 GHz speed, 512 RAM, 160 GB hard drive,. I have a DVD ROM Drive and a DVD+/-R/RW Burner drive. What do I need to get the discs I make with Go Video to play on my computer?

    Thnak You.

    hi

    video moe and VR mode

i have heard of VR mode but not moe?

can you see the files what are they? there format

you do have software to play these dvds?

    ---------------------------------

ther are 2 types of VR mode one leaves the dvd open to add more files (could be yours? and wont play on pc) and the other type finalizes the dvdr so no more files and it plays

Sorry I misspelled "mode". The video discs seem to be full when I finish recording on the Go Video device. They seem to finalize. When I put them in the computer the drives do not seem to recognize that there is a disc in them. I can not open the disc to see the file types. I can not seem to copy them on the computer. They do play in the Go Video machine. thanks!

Sorry, forgot to mention that my computer will play commerical DVDs etc without problems. I have never had problems with a DVD disc that I burned on the computer. Those will play in the Go Video machine and other players and computers.

    hi

do you have nero installed? it uses vr format, but it sounds like the discs are not supported by your pc drive? or it isnt fianlized ok?

use dvd identifier or dvd info pro on a blank disc, to tell us the id dye codes etc...

    try a firmware upgrade

Being somewhat of a novice, where do I find the dvd identifier or dvd info pro? By firmware do you mean upgrading my drivers for the computer disc drives? I do not think the problem is with the discs themselves, as I use the same discs on the computer where they burn fine and I can read them both on the computer and in the Go Video machine.

I do have Nero installed, but I usually use CD Creator.

    Thank you all
